Background: Olou is a metallurgist and is known to be a cheap scape by the locals. Olou inherited his uncle’s assets including a city block of commercial real estate. after he was imprisoned for security fraud, later dying in an Orealian Prison. Some suspect Olou framed his uncle but it has never been proven. Olou squandered almost all his inheritance to pay off gambling debts, also selling off most of the real estate except for his uncle’s shop. It is rumored that Olou has a map that he stole from a Palian Rounder before he got excommunicated from the outpost. The map supposedly has the locations of hidden crystals and gem stashes deep in the rocky outskirts of the planet. To search for the treasure Olou would need a scavenging license from the commerce management which they rarely give unless the price is right. Also, Olou is too stingy to hire an illegal rogue digging crew to find the valuables.

Physical Appearance:  Olou is a cephalopod with robotic enhancements which he received from a metallic water planet called Susos, his origin planet. At birth, all of his kind are equipped with an iron lung breathing apparatus for dwelling on land. Olou’s mechanical enhancements include a bionic monocle, a superior somatosensory system with hearing upgrades. Olou skin is red or reddish brown, but like other cephalopods, it can change quickly, in a fraction of a second, to yellow, brown, white, red, or a variety of mottled colors depending on emotional state.

Personality: Olou is a manipulative and bitter person. Not friendly to have a conversion with unless it has to do with precious metals or something he wants from you, then Olou can be endearing but it’s all an act. Olou is always conniving and driven by constant greed. Olou does seem to get along with micronic androids.
