King of Diamonds
Character Description
Justice is one of the biggest hotel CEOs running a big portion of Neon City. He is trying to take over the whole city from the sewer to the sky and won’t let anything get in his way. He also has an issue with a small-time local drug dealer that can’t escape his conscience, almost to the point of madness.
Justice: Look at them… Like ants as I tower over them like a kid with a magnifying glass. Haha! I’m the one that lets them believe they can rise. I give them success. Financial gain. 401ks. Health insurance. Good schools. Equal opportunity. I’m the one they admire and call on when the city reaches a breaking point. I built this Neon City. And bulb by bulb I can tear it down.
And if I do they’ll ask for Justice and here I am. Ya see G. There always has to be a balance. You give them too much they’ll drain the well. You give them too little and they’ll starve to death and I will go broke. Consumption must be balanced. It’s an ongoing cycle. Now give me a light for this cigar.
Ya see, Only a select few can rise to the ranks of power to reach the ultimate freedom. It’s a fraternity in a way. Don’t trust anybody. Even that bitch down in Old Neon. She thinks her shit doesn’t stink. She forgets who she answers to, but like I said I’m an equal opportunity employer.
Brawn and brains buddy. Champagne and Blunts. Beauty and the beast. Listen, This is what I’m thinking… I want you to set up a table for tonight at Hyde. I know, I know it’s in bad taste, but what better way to celebrate a closed deal than at our competitor’s venue. Shit, they’ll need the business after they find out. Make the minimum 50k. That should shut them up at the door. Get them scrambling like chickens with their heads cut off. Oh, and I want that pretty Asian girl and the one that sprays champagne all over herself. And text that kid to have my cigars on hand. We gonna pop off tonight! Do me a favor.. Close the door on your way out and tell Tiff at the front desk that I don’t wanna be disturbed.
The city had an overwhelming sense of mystery. Like who is the man behind the curtain. I’m the fucking Oz in this adult playland. I just finished buying out a chain of casinos that will make me a 53 percent owner of the city. Economic power play. Especially since that Hockey Arena got nestled right between two of my hotels. That should boost productivity.
It was only a matter of time before the whole city would be mine. There was still some small pest that needed to be exterminated. Fucking junkies. They’re unpredictable. Those are the ones I gotta keep my eye on. My shoes were too polished to have some shit stain mark them up. I needed to inch more towards getting the remnants of the criminal element my name was connected to and be more legit. If the gaming commission-only knew how my empire got started…
Fuck em!
Card sharks working on a salary-based income. Drug distributors supplying low-income housing. Street corner hookers working to pay off debts from material assets acquired on loan. Renowned chefs working as headliners in the Neon City restaurants to keep their brand safe. Rock stars looking to still be relevant in a city that never sleeps. Law enforcement officials on the take. I had a bag full of money and everyone was putting their hands into it.
The one junkie that gotta way in the shadows of the neon lights. A cockroach. A debt he will never pay and a loss I gonna have to eat. Nobody and I means nobody fucks me over. From nickel to 6 figures. This fucking roach I’m gonna find and when I do a message will be sent to all his low-life wannabes. Nobody bites the hand that feeds them.
This fucker is too coked up to even remember how I took him in. Gave him a home. Gave him a beautiful woman. Put closes on his pathetic, weak back. Like a son. I never made that mistake again. A lesson well earned. He can’t hide forever. I will find him..
