Neon City Series is basically my sandbox for character development and world building with merch! (merchandise helps me keep this creative website afloat)
I am an independent writer and the creator of NeonCitySeries.com. In 2019, I began to take my writing seriously. I began to develop this platform for me to have a way of expressing my creative stories. I have always been an observational writer when it came to the traits of a person/character and how they develop from a past to future tense. I have always been interested in the psychological nature of a person and their actions. The real reason of why or the imaginative deception of truth. My writing style consists mainly of narrative, first-person point of view, and stream of consciousness.
A narrative, story or tale is any account of a series of related events or experiences, whether nonfictional or fictional. Narratives can be presented through a sequence of written or spoken words, still or moving images, or any combination of these.
A first-person narrative is a mode of storytelling in which a storyteller recounts events from their own point of view using the first person such as "I", "us", "our" and "ourselves". It may be narrated by a first person protagonist, first person re-teller, first person witness, or first person peripheral.
Stream of consciousness is a literary style in which a character's thoughts, feelings, and reactions are depicted in a continuous flow uninterrupted by objective description or conventional dialogue.
Besides being a writer, I create almost everything else...sound editing, voice overs, acting, web development, web & social media marketing, logo, typography, and graphics. If I don't know how to do something I will learn how.
All my illustrations are created by either AI Software, Adobe Design Suite or Contracted Illustrators. (I'm pretty good at stick figures)
All character concepts and stories are created and written by me.
My goal is to turn all my stories/series/projects into graphic novels.
